Stomp!

Sorry we haven't posted in a while - it seems that a stomach virus has swept over central Nebraska - and although we don't have it as bad as some, we have had quite a few diaper changes every hour (that poor red bottom!!), and some cruddy-feeling tummies. But I think that we are on the mend - just in time for another storm this weekend (yeah!) :) I'm kidding...Andy has to work this weekend, and I HATE when he has to drive in the yuck.

Tonight Alex had a sippy cup with water in it - we are trying to keep him away from the cups where he has to "suck" the liquid out - we are trying to see if this prevents the ear infections. Anyway, this new cup thing is quite interesting. When Alex is finished taking a drink, he usually places the cup down. However, tonight, he THREW his cup down, therefore knocking the lid off, and getting water all over the carpet.

Andy went to get a towel, and began to stomp on the towel to clean it up. (A few days ago this happened and Alex helped me stomp on the towel to clean it up - so we had the camera ready this time!) It took a minute, but Alex got the idea and stomped his little feet out on the towel. Granted, he didn't soak up too much water, but it was just adorable seeing him "stomp"!



Please excuse the "no pants" - they were leaked through earlier - and it's just easier to not have pants on when you are changing diapers so often!!
